The Practice Manager I provides operational leadership, daily oversight, and administrative management for assigned physician practice locations. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient practice operations, high-quality patient experiences, financial stewardship, staff engagement, and compliance with organizational standards. The Practice Manager I models positive leadership behaviors, promotes team collaboration, and supports departmental and organizational goals, and is typically responsible for managing physician practices consisting of up to three providers.
- Require an associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant leadership experience may be considered in lieu of the degree on a year-for-year basis.
- Require a minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience preferably within a healthcare or physician practice setting.
- Prefer demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment and provide decision-making expertise.
- Prefer demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.
- Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and cost center-based management.
- Prefer knowledge of physician practice operations and third-party payer requirements.
