We are currently hiring Medical Assistants for our FPG Silverstein Institute & Head and Neck Surgery offices. These medical offices offer medical and surgical treatment for ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions for both adult and pediatric patients.
The Clinical Care Coordinator I (Medical Assistant) work directly with patients and assist healthcare providers with day‑to‑day clinical care, such as:
Preparing patients for exams and procedures
Escorting patients to exam rooms
Taking vitals

*Medical Assistant Requirements (Clinical Care Coordinator I):
Requires current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by:
-American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA),
-National Healthcare Association (NHA)
-National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by:
-American Medical Technologists (AMT)
-Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
-National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); OR a certified EMT.
Note: Experienced medical assistants with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience, and with a certification from a certifying agency not noted above, or without certification, agrees to register with one of the currently accepted agencies for MA Certification and schedule a test date within 6 months from date of hire.
Test for certification may be beyond the six (6) month date.
Certification must be received and presented to HR within 12 months of date of hire.
High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
*Please note that a copy or photo of your High School Diploma or GED is required prior to start - or transcripts showing date of completion/graduation (this is collected during our onboarding process).
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date (required for all clinical positions)
*We accept BLS certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
*Monday – Friday.
*Day shift: Shifts times may vary (between 7:45 AM and 5:00PM)
*8 hour shifts.
*No weekend or Holidays.
