The Executive Assistant I provides direct administrative support to the senior administrator, as well as, advises, assists, and represents the senior administrator on a wide range of issues and performs follow-up on his/her behalf.
This position is with the First Physicians Group (FPG) team. FPG is a multi-speciality medical group associated with Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System, providing primary and specialty care through hundreds of providers, aiming to meet community healthcare needs with the backing of Sarasota Memorial's resources, focusing on local, integrated care. They serve thousands of patients yearly across various locations in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
- Require an associate degree or a minimum of four (4) years as an Executive Assistant at an executive level in a similar sized organization.
- Prefer the ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
- Prefer executive presence and comfort with all levels of senior management, particularly C-suite.
- Prefer the ability to prioritize multiple demands and respond in a timely manner.
- Require discretionary judgment and knowledge of hospital departments and programs, and the ability to manage sensitive and privileged information.
- Prefer the ability to interact with all levels of management and staff and the ability to work under stress and display a confidence and professional attitude to staff/public.
- Prefer the ability to develop, plan and implement short and long-range goals.
- Prefer strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and internet research skills. - Strategic calendar scheduling a must.
- Prefer exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Prefer the ability to be self-motivated, work independently and shift priorities with flexibility.
- Prefer the ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Prefer a high level of tact in dealing with individuals and groups.
- Prefer ability to produce top quality outcomes and deliverables in a high volume/fast paced environment.
Position is 100% on-site (no remote work) and full-time Monday-Friday.
