The Clinical Care Specialist is a CMA/RMA, LPN or RN within First Physicians Group (FPG) who demonstrates the competency to provide patient care according to the age-specific needs of the population, and assists in the management of patient care in the physician office setting under the direct supervision of a provider. In addition, the Specialist acts as a resource for surgical scheduling, referral management, billing/coding issues and performs in a leader role in the absence of the leader.
- Require graduation from an accredited nursing educational program.
- Requires five (5) years clinical experience in a medical setting.
- Require current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), or National Healthcare Association (NHA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by the American Medical Technologists (AMT); or a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) by the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); or active State of Florida LPN or RN licensure.

- Prefer skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Prefer demonstrated initiative and self-direction.
- Prefer the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining proficiency and efficiency.
- Prefer dependability/reliability.
- Prefer Electronic Health Records experience.
- Prefer three (3) years of clinical experience in outpatient physician office practice.
