The Executive Assistant I provides direct administrative support to the senior administrator, as well as, advises, assists, and represents the senior administrator on a wide range of issues and performs follow-up on his/her behalf.
*This position is 100% on-site (no remote work).
- Require an associate degree or a minimum of four (4) years as an Executive Assistant at an executive level in a similar sized organization.
- Prefer the ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
- Prefer executive presence and comfort with all levels of senior management, particularly C-suite.
- Prefer the ability to prioritize multiple demands and respond in a timely manner.
- Require discretionary judgment and knowledge of hospital departments and programs, and the ability to manage sensitive and privileged information.
- Prefer the ability to interact with all levels of management and staff and the ability to work under stress and display a confidence and professional attitude to staff/public.
- Prefer the ability to develop, plan and implement short and long-range goals.
- Prefer strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and internet research skills. - Strategic calendar scheduling a must.
- Prefer exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Prefer the ability to be self-motivated, work independently and shift priorities with flexibility.
- Prefer the ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Prefer a high level of tact in dealing with individuals and groups.
