Hiring for front office positions at various FPG provider offices in the Sarasota and Venice Areas and various clerical/admin positions in our FPG Central Billing Office located on Main Street in downtown Sarasota.
Searching for dynamic personalities to join our team providing excellent customer service in our offices. Pay rates offered are based on experience and equity.
Central Billing Office:
FPG Provider Offices:
Primary care patient population and duties: patients aged 18+, chronic disease management, annual wellness visits, point of care testing and vaccinations, coordination with specialty care offices for referrals and outpatient testing, handling daily patient calls, questions and prescriptions.
Pediatric patient population and duties: newborn to 17 years, annual wellness visits, point of care testing and vaccinations, developmental milestone assessments, handling daily patient calls, questions, and prescriptions, working collaboratively with care team, coordinating with pediatric specialty care facilities.
Opportunities for Novice and Experienced Medical Assistants, LPN and RN's.
Individualized orientation/training

Patient Relations Rep II - Front Desk positions (Provider offices)
- Require computer, keyboard and data input skills.

Support Service Rep I - Central Billing Office Correspondence Rep (Central Billing Office)
- Require the ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to resolution.
- Require the ability to meet and greet public and handle difficult situations diplomatically.
- Require the ability to follow structured time schedule, and the ability to organize self and work.
- Require a clear and distinct speaking voice.
- Require the ability to operate an adding machine quickly and accurately by touch.
- Require the ability use standard office equipment.
- Require basic mathematical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Require basic knowledge of Managed Care remittance.
Support Service Rep II - Patient Account Specialist (Central Billing Office)
- Require an Associate’s Degree. A high school diploma, plus two (2) years of relevant Patient Financial Services or related experience, may be substituted for required degree.
- Require the ability to manage special projects and task to completion.
- Require the ability to be cross-trained in two (2) or more specialty areas.
- Require general knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10 and CPT coding.
- Require the ability to analyze problems, develop solutions and consistently follows through to resolution.
- Require the ability to meet and greet public and handle difficult situations diplomatically.
- Require a clear and distinct speaking voice.
- Require the ability to operate an adding machine quickly and accurately by touch.
- Require the ability to use standard office equipment.
- Require basic mathematical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Require basic knowledge of Managed Care remittance and adjustment process.
Support Service Rep II - Payment Poster
- Require two (2) years of experience working with Medicare, Medicaid and commercial billing and collections.
- Require the ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to resolution.
- Require the ability to meet and greet public and handle difficult situations diplomatically.
- Require a clear and distinct speaking voice.
- Require the ability to operate an adding machine quickly and accurately by touch.
- Require the ability to use standard office equipment.
- Require basic mathematical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Require basic knowledge of Managed Care remittance and adjustment process.
Support Service Rep II - Charge Entry
- Require a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a physician office and/or physician charge entry.
- Require skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Require the ability to work with little to no supervision in meeting departmental goals.
- Require demonstrated initiative and self-direction.
- Require knowledge of Patient Management software application.
- Require two (2) years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid and commercial revenue, and charge capture.
- Require the ability to type thirty (30) words per minute for CRT and PC input.
- Require the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high volume setting.
- Require general knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
- Require the ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to resolution.
- Require a pleasant and professional demeanor with neat appearance.
- Require strong oral and written communication skills.
- Require basic knowledge of third party payers.
Prefer healthcare experience (front office, registration, billing, coding, patient accounts).
High school diploma or GED
