This leader has accountability and oversight, and supervises the daily activities of the department, shift or area. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring successful completion of individual and teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities in support of departmental and organizational goals.
- Require current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants, or a Registered Medical Assistant by the American Society of Medical Technologist, or a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) by the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP).
- Require two (2) years of healthcare experience in a physician office setting.
- Prefer two (2) years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
This role supports three sub-specialities which include Thyroid & Parathyroid Surgery, Head & Neck Surgery, and Laryngology. The role will focus on streamlining clinical and front office staff, helping to provide the best patient care, and maintaining a positive work environment. The offices are open Monday- Friday 8am-5pm.
